Terms of Service
Please read these terms carefully before using RowaFood.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using RowaFood's website, mobile applications, and services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our Services.
These Terms apply to all users, including diners, restaurant partners, and visitors. Additional terms may apply to restaurant partners and are provided in separate agreements.
2. Terms for Diners
Account Registration
To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate information and keep your account credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activities under your account.
Use of Services
- Use Services only for lawful purposes
- Provide accurate information for reservations
- Honor reservations or cancel within the required timeframe
- Treat restaurant staff and other users with respect
3. Restaurant Partner Terms
Restaurant partners agree to additional terms including:
- Maintain accurate menu and pricing information
- Honor all reservations made through RowaFood
- Provide agreed-upon deals and discounts
- Comply with all applicable food safety and business regulations
- Respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner
- Pay applicable fees as outlined in the Partner Agreement
4. Booking and Cancellation Policies
Making Reservations
Reservations made through RowaFood are subject to availability and restaurant confirmation. Some restaurants may require a credit card to hold reservations.
Cancellation Policy
- Free cancellation up to 2 hours before reservation time (varies by restaurant)
- Late cancellations may incur a fee up to $25 per person
- No-shows may result in charges and account restrictions
- Restaurants may have their own cancellation policies that take precedence
5. Refund Policy
Refunds for prepaid experiences, gift cards, or deposits are handled as follows:
- Full refund for cancellations made within the free cancellation period
- Partial or no refund for late cancellations, depending on timing
- Refunds for quality issues must be reported within 24 hours of dining
- Gift card balances are non-refundable but do not expire
- Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5-10 business days
6. User Conduct Guidelines
You agree not to:
- Submit false reviews or ratings
- Create multiple accounts to abuse promotions
- Harass restaurants, staff, or other users
- Use automated systems to access our Services
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe on intellectual property rights
Violation of these guidelines may result in account suspension or termination.
7. Intellectual Property Rights
All content, features, and functionality of our Services are owned by RowaFood, Inc. and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You retain ownership of content you submit (reviews, photos) but grant RowaFood a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute such content in connection with our Services.
8. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our Services will be resolved as follows:
- Informal Resolution: Contact us first at legal@rowafood.store to attempt informal resolution
- Arbitration: Unresolved disputes will be settled by binding arbitration in San Francisco, CA
- Class Action Waiver: You agree to resolve disputes individually, not as part of a class action
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RowaFood shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
- Loss of profits, data, or goodwill
- Actions or inactions of restaurant partners
- Quality of food or service at partner restaurants
- Technical failures or service interruptions
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to RowaFood in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website and updating the "Effective Date." Your continued use of our Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
